Hello, My name is Shelby and I'm 38years old. I have been a nanny for over 10+ years. In those years I've worked for 6 amazing families that I stay in touch with regularly. I see my care kids as family and love them all so very much. My experience working with children, aside from nannying, has been volunteering in elementary/middle school classrooms, traveling to Thailand and working in orphanages for extended periods of time, interning for Child Protective Services while attending college, and being a mother myself. I've also worked as lead teacher within a daycare setting, but found that my passion is providing families with the best childcare possible within my home now that I have 2 daughters of my own. I can’t say enough good things about Shelby- or should I say Shelby. Shelby started watching our daughter when she was 8 months old and immediately put us ease. After visiting with her, you could immediately tell she was an expert. From her adorable Montessori play things set ups, to bins of age appropriate toys, I knew my daughter had the best time every day. She communicated details about her day and kept me updated on how she was eating, napping, and playing. (The happy pics always made my day). It was such a blessing to have someone that I deeply trusted care for our child. I wholeheartedly recommend Shelby.
