About Shelby

Hi, I'm an avid animal lover and experienced pet sitter with a home full of dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks. I've cared for reptiles (including live feedings for lizards), rodents, and birds--though my bird experience is mostly with farm poultry, not exotic fliers. I grew up helping on my grandfather's pig farm and have light farm animal experience. I'm also familiar with giving medications, including subcutaneous shots and fluids, though I'm not certified. I foster through Pima Animal Care Center when I can and love being hands-on with animals. I'm a licensed massage therapist in my spare hours. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, doing art, training my dogs, and homesteading. I'm quiet, respectful, a strong communicator, and always timely--traits I bring to every pet and home I care for.
