About Shelby

I love taking care of kids. I am the on call babysitter for my family and friends as I have an open and flexible job currently. Their kids range from 2 months old to 16 years old. I especially enjoy watching infants as I hope to have several babies in the future. I am not professionally trained and have not had a professional babysitter job before. However, I have been taking care of my cousins and friends babies for many years now. No matter how many times I watch and care for a child, I always remain respectful and diligent with the parents' wishes. Every parent has a different way they care for their kids, and I like to see them in action at least once before doing it solo. It helps to see how the parents respond to different situations so that I can do the same. It keeps miscommunication and mistakes to the lowest, especially with older kids who might try to trick their babysitter. I also like to help around the house however I can as kids care be a handfull.
