About Shelby

Hi! My name is Shelby, and I have years of experience working with children of all ages. I've worked as an Assistant Teacher at Lightbridge Academy for several years while attending my University, where I gained hands-on classroom and childcare experience. I also have a strong background in dance education and have been a dance teacher for many years. I began assisting my dance coach at just 10 years old, which helped me build strong connections with children and understand how to support them in fun, engaging, and structured ways. Although I recently stopped teaching dance due to distance, my passion for working with kids has never changed. I'm patient, reliable, and genuinely love helping children learn, grow, and feel supported. I pride myself on creating a safe, positive, and nurturing environment and building trusting relationships with both kids and parents.
