About Shelia

Making a difference in someone's life is what I strive for each day. With eight years of experience providing care, I've learned that patience and empathy are essential. I'm passionate about supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors, and my previous roles have only strengthened this desire. I provide respite care, live-in care, transportation, and personal care. I'm also experienced in hospice services, errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, dementia care, medical management, and mobility assistance. When caring for individuals with special needs or memory care needs, I adapt to changing routines and handle confusion with a calm approach. I communicate with families through written reports and verbal updates, always following their preferred method. Respecting a care recipient's independence is very important to me. I have a high school degree, a car, and I am comfortable with pets. I am also trained in CPR and First Aid.
