About Shelon

Hello! My name is Shelon, and I'm originally from a small town in Mississippi. I moved to Georgia over 25 years ago, and I absolutely love it here. I originally trained as a nurse, but when I relocated from Alabama, I found out my license wouldn't transfer, and I had to start over. That unexpected setback led me to work in corporate America for a while. Still, something felt missing - I deeply missed helping others. Eventually, I started working part-time with clients who had dementia, Alzheimer's, cerebral palsy, and other conditions. It reignited my passion for caregiving, though I had no idea how personal this journey would become. Five years ago, I had a stroke myself. I had to relearn how to do many things, and through that difficult experience, I found a new purpose. I launched my own business focused on supporting stroke survivors - helping them reclaim their strength and independence, just as I had to.
