About Sherika

Hi potential new family! My name is Rika and I'm a 30-something full time SAHM (stay at home mom). My son is 2 years old and he's a funny, curious guy. I'm looking to work with a family that will allow my son to be with me during the day. I'm able to provide childcare in your home or mine with a fully equipped classroom/ play area for all ages. I recently chose to take a career break to focus on teaching and caring for my son. I'm also a full time student finishing my associate in arts Summer 2026 with plans to transfer to UNCG Fall 2026. I'm majoring in Psychology and plan to go on to get my Masters Degree in ABA Therapy to work with children with Autism. I have 20+ years of experience in childcare from babysitting to Bible study to bring a full time nanny previously. I have experience with all ages and love working with children in meeting their milestones! I would be honored to work with your family and give you the peace of mind that your child is with someone who truly cares.
