As far as I can remember, I have always loved animals. As a child, I grew up with many dogs. Throughout my childhood, we had 5 dogs as pets. We also had a couple cats, including taking in a stray. Our one dog, Sandy had a litter of puppies that I learned how to take care of and love on as a young girl. I lived in a rural area growing up, with many farming communities nearby, so I also got to be around cows, horses, goats, sheep & pigs. My Dad also cared for rabbits. I just have always been around animals & have tremendous love and respect for them. When my kids were young, our family rescued a dog from the Humane Society and adopted a cute Mixed Terrier, named Sasha who was 6 months old at the time. She is 12 now and she has been a huge part of our lives! As a result, I have 12 years of direct dog care taking experience. I also have pet sat for friends & neighbors taking care of both dogs & cats while they traveled. Thank you for your consideration.
