I provided in-home daycare for kids when my own children were small, until they went to school. More recently, I began being the loving caregiver to my granddaughters from birth, until they were older and able to transition to pre-school, TK, and grade school. During the pandemic, when their parents worked from home, I helped with remote learning. I have provided a safe, warm, nurturing environment with emphasis on outdoor play, nature education, arts and crafts, sensory play, teaching numbers and ABCs. I consider reading the pathway to learning, and am a strong believer in 1, 000 books before Kindergarten. I would also enjoy providing Date Night Care for children so parents can enjoy a night out.
