Hi my name is Shiana! I provide personal care to different age groups ranging from newborn to teens. An experienced caregiver with years in different environments such as daycare's, ABA clinics and in home. Given the resources when moving to Austin, I was able to obtained my Registered Behavioral Therapist certification, allowing me to care for a variety of children included but not limited to down syndrome, present on the spectrum, or speech/OT delays. This has allowed me to learn different communication styles and teaching technics. Growing in my nanny career thru the years, I've had the opportunity to work one on one with families as well as nanny share helping families with additional care such as light house keeping, errands, meal planning and more. Outside of childcare, I also have a deep love for animals as I have multiple dogs and most free time is spent with them. I am currently a part-time trainer and base most activities that improve mobility and function in a fun way!

Our family was so blessed to find Shy. We needed help with our 2 year old H, once our second child was born. We were worried about the lack of attention he would get from us at the beggining and all the subsequent changes that come with a new sibling. From the moment we met Shy we could tell we found someone special. She was always so present, patient and loving. You can tell she takes an enormous amount of pride in her work. She planned outings in advance, always thinking of fun new things to do with H. She’s a total professional. Always on time, never called in sick, never scrolling on her phone - always dialed in on our babies. 5* and a review does not do her justice. We are forever grateful for her impact on our son and will always consider Shy family. The next family is so fortunate to get to experience her kindness and expert level of care.
