About Shira

Hi, I'm Shira! I love hanging out with infants and young children and have a lot of experience in doing so. I think of myself as a warm and loving person who also can have a lot of fun. Below is a more detailed list of my experience. Babysitting, preschool, and nannying experience: I began babysitting at 12, working as a preschool aid at 16, and nannied for three summers with children between 2 days old and 10 years old. Professional qualifications: I have a bachelor's degree in Child Development, experience working with medically complex children, and my jobs since graduating college have all been in research with children. I like working with kids because they're so much fun! Every age has its own unique charms and every child has their own special personality. I love getting to hang out with them and watch them grow. I'm looking for a job with a kind family. I prefer to work with infants and toddlers, but I'm always happy to have fun with some older kids!
