About Sindy

I am described by most as an energetic individual who has patience with children of all ages. My world revolves around children. I have two boys of my own, ages 3 and 4. I currently work at The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts High School for CREC. I also started a non-profit organization for children, teens and young adults ages 10-21. I believe that I have a gift to make children happy by individualizing the time spent with them and the time spent to build healthy relationships. While caring for two children and the children of others in my own home, I say "see you later" to a body of students on a daily basis as I clock out of work. I love life because I am blessed to serve the next generation and be a part of changing the lives of one individual child at a time. Many people ask "how do you do it?" and I respond by saying "it's a gift". I was not taught how to love children through textbooks but through the opportunity of meeting them and desiring to lead them in the right direction. During the summer, I am unemployed and felt continuing to work with children would give more meaning to my everyday life. I have also worked in a daycare as a teenager. I have always loved children.
