About Sofia

My name is Sofia, and I am a 27-year-old caregiver with a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Denver. I am relocating from Colorado to Massachusetts and hoping to find a full-time nanny position with a kind, welcoming family. I have over seven years of hands-on childcare experience with children ranging from 8 months to preteens. This past year, I've had the joy of helping care for my sister's newborn and have been her primary caregiver since she was 3 months old. During the pandemic, I led a small learning pod for three families and continued homeschooling two of the children through 2021, weaving creativity into their days through art, music, and theater. I also taught elementary students film and ukulele until last year. While in college, I worked in an after-school program at St. Anne's Episcopal School, caring for children ages 4-13. I am CPR certified and bring patience, creativity, and warmth to the families I work with.
