I've been working in childcare since 2006. I'm a mom of three and have a deep passion for caring for infants. In 2014, I opened and operated my own in-home daycare, where I had the joy of caring for little ones-many starting as young as 6 to 12 weeks-through to kindergarten. I ran my daycare until 2022 before stepping in to help manage my husband's plumbing company.

As of December 2024, I've returned to being a stay-at-home mom and am now looking for a part-time nanny position. I'm exclusively interested in working with infants, as that stage of development has always held a special place in my heart. Caring for babies was truly the most fulfilling part of my career, and I'd love the opportunity to support a family and spend time with another beautiful baby.

We had a wonderful experience with Sonja as our caregiver. She is incredibly trustworthy, punctual, and responsible. She handles everything with care and professionalism, and we always felt completely comfortable leaving our children with her. She is kind, patient, and truly great with kids. We highly recommend her to any family.

Sonja is a very caring mother for her own children and loves the children she’s in charge off. A hands on individual who works on their development. The children cared for come to adore Sonja. My children are grown but you could not find better caregiver than her for your children.

My daughter goes to Sonja's daycare. It is such a relief to have such a dependable, organized professional taking care of my little one. She does lots of great activities throughout the day and the toys are great and age appropriate. I would highly recommend her.

Sonja worked for my family for a year. She was a perfect nanny! My son who was six at the time felt completely comfortable around her at all times. I trust her with my child 100% and if I needed a nanny again, she would be the first person I'd call.

Sonja helped me with our in home daycare (age range newborn to 2 years old) while we had our second child. She has also watched our 2 year old and 2 month old. She is at the top of our list for trustworthy, creative, dependable help. Sonja is always on time, plays with the kids, is prepared daily to teach kids new things, and helps out with household chores she is not required to do. She is truly an extension of the parents and your second set of hands when in your home. She is a blessing to us and our kids.

Sonja helped my husband and I out with our 14 month old while we were in town for the College World Series. First of all, I was impressed with the fact that I contacted her and she responded within MINUTES. When she showed up, she had games, toys and snacks for A. and her son. It was GREAT for A. to not only have a playmate, but for Sonja to think to bring these items because we were at a hotel and limited to just a few toys and food. When we returned from the game, she had made a list of EVERYTHING they did with their time together from how many diapers, wet/dry and exactly what time they were changed to every activity, bath time and bed time. She also sent me pics periodically to show me the fun they were having. When we used her for the next game, Alexi wasn't at all upset to see us go...she loved spending time with Sonja and Dominique. I  was VERY impressed with Sonja and would highly recommend her to anyone. I will also use her again WHEN the Oregon State Beavers return to Omaha!!

Sonja is my older sister and I have nothing but the best possible things to say about her when it comes to caring for children. She has been working in childcare for as long as I can remember and she has such a way with kids. She does the best job at being both a caring, energetic, and engaging caregiver as well as a sensible and fair disciplinarian when it is needed. I would definitely and highly recommend her as a nanny to any family that was in need of one. Your children would, without a doubt, be taken quality care of by her and you would soon know that you, most definitely, made the right decision in hiring her.

Sonja really came through in a pinch for me. She even offered to pick up and drop off, which is a huge help. Sonja did a fantastic job with my daughter, who is 20 months old. She came home happy and you could tell she had a great day. I will definitely use Sonja again for drop in care. Thanks Sonja!

Sonja is an attentive, loving babysitter to our daughter!  We feel safe leaving our daughter in her very capable and responsible hands.

We are so blessed to have Sonja as our nanny. She is a wonderful person and is absolutely great with our three daughters. We know that when we leave for work they are in great hands and there is nothing to worry about. We have quickly come to feel as though Sonja and D. are part of our extended family.
