Hi! I'm Sophie - a college student by day, caregiver by, well, also day, and sometimes night. My schedule is pretty flexible and I have reliable transportation. I got my start in caregiving the old-fashioned way: family. I supported my dad and grandmother through their Alzheimer's journeys, which taught me everything from the importance of routines to how to sneak healthy food into meals without getting caught. It also gave me perspective on what really matters: dignity, independence, and finding the small joys (like laughing at a Seinfeld episode we'd seen 47 times already). While my professional resume has been limited to babysitting and care for a physically disabled adult with non-verbal autism, I have the skills, patience, and levity to bring real support where it's needed.
