About Sophia

Hi! My name is Sophia and I am looking for a family to nanny for. I recently graduated college with a degree in Elementary Education and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I love working with kids because it gives me a chance to make a positive impact on a child's life. I value the lifelong education of children and work to foster the love of learning in each child that I work with. I started working with kids when I was 16 years old. For the past 7 years, I have been a babysitter, nanny, and a preschool teacher. I have worked with children ages 8 weeks to 13 years old. I have also completed my student teaching in a kindergarten classroom and have had many years of elementary classroom experience. In my spare time, I like to hike, camp, and spend time outdoors. I love being active and going to the beach! My skills include connecting with children, nurturing their needs, and fostering healthy child development.
