About Sophia

Hello! My name is Sophia and I am not only interested, but very passionate about being a elderly caretaker. It started with me visiting my grandparents for the summers in their nursing home and helping them with their daily routine, such as; helping them out of bed every morning and to their wheelchairs, taking my grandmas blood sugar every day and giving her insulin when necessary, helping both my grandparents run daily errands, assisting my grandpa into the shower when he needed to bathe, helping them both with little tasks like grab their book or open the door, etc. A few times I had to get emergency attention when my grandpa fell and needed extra help getting up. I would cook everyday and help with random tasks as well as keep an eye on my grandma's blood sugar and give her snacks when necessary. I found myself forming a deep connection with all of the unique elderly humans at the nursing home, and that is when I decided to get a job there and become an elderly caretaker.
