About Sophia

I'm a college graduate preparing to start graduate school in pediatric speech-language pathology, and I have 2 years of experience caring for and teaching children. I currently volunteer at a church daycare and tutor kids ages 3-8 at Kumon, helping them build confidence and develop important skills. I am First Aid and CPR certified for infants and adults, and I always prioritize safety while creating a fun, positive, and nurturing environment. I am responsible, energetic, and genuinely love working with children, and I would be thrilled to support your family and care for your little ones. I'd describe my personality as responsible, positive, caring. I like working with kids because I love helping them develop new skills and feel inspired by their curiosity and energy! I first started working with children in high school at a church daycare, where I discovered my passion for helping kids learn and grow. In my spare time, I like to lift weights, do yoga, bake, and craft :))
