About Sophia

I like caring for seniors because I understand how difficult it can be to experience the decline, or sometimes regression, in health, brain function, and overall well being. I also enjoy the stories I hear and the connections I get to make with individuals who lived in a period I haven't been around to experience or understand. I appreciate the moments shared with me and the advice I get to hear in working with seniors. I started caring for seniors when I saw how much I appreciated the elderly community working at a neurology clinic. From there, I transferred to a senior assisted care facility and worked as a caregiver for some years as I finished college. In my spare time, I like to craft, listen to music, do yoga, and hang with friends or my dog! One thing you should know about me is I'm super patient, understanding, and know how to react in times of irritation, stress, confusion, and discomfort.
