About Sophia

Hi everyone! My name is Sophia and I'm a 22-year-old college graduate, born and raised in Redondo Beach, with over nine years of childcare experience. Alongside babysitting consistently from age 13 on, I spent three summers working as a manager at a local surf camp. In this role, I took immediate care of 15 children in my portion of camp, in addition to interacting with up to 40 more children in other sections of camp each week. Most recently, I was a nanny to a young toddler for five months last fall, so I've taken care of children of all ages. I love kids and am a compassionate, patient and responsible sitter! I prioritize creative and educational outlets for the kids I'm sitting/nannying for, as well as participating in adventures and activities with them, rather than just observing on the sidelines!
