About Sophia

My name is Sophia, and I'm a 23-year-old who loves working with kids. I graduated in June with my B. A. in Psychology and am currently working as a paraprofessional in LaGrange School District 102. I am looking for a family to nanny for in the summer before I begin my graduate studies in School Psychology this fall. My background includes two years in early childhood education, three years conducting school-based educational and behavioral intervention research, two years interning with an early childhood mindfulness nonprofit, two years supporting neurodivergent children in school settings, coursework in developmental psychology, and over 10 years of babysitting experience. Through these roles, I've developed strong skills in supporting children's social-emotional development and creating engaging, structured activities. I'd also be happy to share references.
