About Sophia

Hi there! I'm Sophia, and I'm a junior at PSU (age 23) studying environmental studies and child & family studies. I'm a lifelong Portlander, and am hoping to enter the outdoor education field after college. I've been babysitting for 10 years now, caring for children ages 3 months to 12 years. I also have experience as a daycare teacher (8 months at My Bundle of Joy in NE Portland), nanny, tutor, and camp counselor. I'm energetic, creative and attentive, and I really do love kids. I would love to do art, read, dance/sing, cook, go on walks, visit the library, or go on outdoor adventures with your kiddo(s)! I'm certified in Pediatric First Aid & CPR, and enrolled in Oregon's Central Background Registry. I do have a driver's license, but I do not have a car. I'm happy to do pick-ups/drop-offs and any other outings with your own car, on foot, via public transportation, or even on bike!
