About Sophie

Hello, my name is Sophie! I am currently attending the University of New Mexico as an English-Philosophy major. I love kids; I always have. I believe children are our biggest teachers, and I always feel better about the world after spending time with them. I try to be a safe space for children as well as their parents, and make sure they feel completely comfortable around me. I am fully vaccinated and boosted, I love pets (I have three cats and a dog), and I have my own vehicle. Work experience: I worked at South Broadway Public Library for a year, and would interact with kids of all ages every day; I would do crafts with them, help them read, and play games with them. I also worked with The Children's Hour Radio Program for two consecutive summers; a radio program made by kids as young as 2 and as old as 17. I would help them use their creative outlets. Frankly, I would do babysitting for free, but I am trying to help put myself through college. Thank you for considering me!
