About Sophie

Learning alongside students is my passion. As a previous elementary teacher I been helping school students thrive in Math, English, Science, Computers, Special Education, and Test Preparation. I hold a college degree and tailor my approach to each student's unique learning style through active listening and varied teaching strategies. I connect challenging topics to their interests and celebrate every success to keep them motivated. Open communication is essential, and I value building trust with both students and parents. The most rewarding part of tutoring is witnessing those "aha!" moments and watching confidence blossom. I am comfortable tutoring at the student's home, teacher's home, online, the library, or a community center. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I love creating a supportive learning environment, and I look forward to helping your child reach their full potential.
