About Sophie

Nurturing young minds is my passion. My journey into childcare began with positive babysitting experiences and grew into a desire to positively impact children's lives. I bring three years of experience caring for children aged newborn to 12 years old. I have much experience in my former career as a teacher, working with all ages from pre school to high school. I have a graduate degree and I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I am patient, creative, and approachable. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, puzzles, and educational games. I am happy to follow your lead on household rules and communicate using your preferred method. I am also certified in First Aid and CPR and speak French and some Russian. I'm comfortable with light housekeeping and meal preparation. I am excited about the opportunity to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family.
