About Sophie

I'm passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment for your child to not only learn but find motivation from within. I have 5 years of experience working with kids as a camp counselor, volunteering at a child care center for toddlers and as a long-term babysitter. I also have 5 years of experience tutoring in a foreign language on an individual and classroom basis. I know how difficult it can be to engage a child in their learning, but with lots of patience, I adapt to every child's unique needs to find a way to work with them. I graduated from Dartmouth College in 2020 with a degree in mechanical engineering and speak fluent German after living in Germany for 12 years. I would love to help your elementary or middle school level child succeed in any subject they may need support with or provide German language tutoring for any age.
