I'm eager to help students unlock their full potential through personalized tutoring. With a graduate degree and four years of experience, I specialize in Math, Science, and Test Preparation for middle school through college-level students. I am a certified teacher and possess experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). My approach focuses on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, creating an engaging and supportive environment. I adapt my teaching to each student's unique learning style, actively listening and varying my strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I also connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate small successes. Communication is essential, and I provide regular updates to parents. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a car and am comfortable tutoring at various locations.
