She provided hands-on support for many ADLs, ensured regular social engagement and kept me informed of any changes in my mom’s abilities. Her care meant my mom had the extra support and companionship needed to continue to live in Florida, which was her preference. Although I have now moved my mom to a memory care facility closer to me, Starr will always be an extended part of my family because of the excellent care and sincere friendship she provided for these many years.
