I'm passionate about fostering a love for learning and empowering students to develop critical thinking skills for long-term success. With my college degree and experience navigating dyslexia, I bring a unique perspective and patience to tutoring. As an older sister of 9 children I have learned to actively listen with my students and vary my teaching strategies to suit their individual learning styles, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I celebrate small successes and create engaging checklists and rewards systems to keep students motivated. Open communication is essential, and I provide regular updates to parents to reinforce learning at home.
