About Stephanie

I am an experienced and caring tutor with 9 years of teaching experience in the public school system, working with students in kindergarten through 5th grade. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in English as a Second Language (ESL), which allows me to effectively support students in reading, writing, math, and language development, including English learners. As a tutor, I am patient, responsive, and highly attentive to each child's individual learning style. I focus on building strong foundational skills, boosting confidence, and helping students develop strategies that lead to long-term academic success. I believe tutoring should feel supportive and encouraging, and I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks.
