Looking for an off-duty park ranger/museum educator/camp counselor to support your family's needs? Well, look no further than Fern! With extensive experience in children's art, nature, theatre, and history education at places like the Statue of Liberty, Central Michigan University Museum, and New York Botanical Garden, I love attentively supporting the social, emotional, and intellectual growth of kids. Not only that, I'm a great help around the house and love to cook. Childcare has been a lifelong journey for me. As the eldest of my family, I have been helping care for my younger brother since I was a pre-teen/late elementary. In my teens, I also babysat my mom's coworkers kids during their mom game nights, was a camp counselor at a reading camp, and a "Youtheatre" director/caregiver. Once I got to college, I lead numerous museum education programs for a wide swath of ages at the CMU Museum, launching my career in children's museum education! Sounds like a good fit? Let's talk!
