About Stephanie

I hired Stephanie in 2016 to help care for my mother, who was living with dementia. At the time, she was in her early twenties—yet she showed a level of responsibility, maturity, and compassion that many seasoned caregivers never reach. When other care aides failed to show up or walked off the job, she stepped in without hesitation. There were periods when she worked three days in a row, covering shifts that no one else would take. We worked side by side, and I saw firsthand how deeply committed she was—not just to the work, but to the person she was caring for. What sets her apart is her integrity. She has no agenda. Her focus is always on her patient—their dignity, comfort, and emotional safety. She genuinely loves the people she cares for, and that love shows in every interaction. My mother trusted her, responded to her, and felt safe with her, which is everything when dementia is involved. Because of her presence, my caregiving journey with my mother was far less stressful than it could have been. That is not something I say lightly. After my mother passed in 2023, she remained in our lives—not because she had to, but because that is who she is. I can say without reservation that she is one of the most dedicated, authentic, and compassionate caregivers in the Capital Region.
