About Stephanie

Becoming a postpartum doula reflects my desire to nurture and support new families. For the first three months, my focus is on providing coaching, nurturing and building confidence with mothers and fathers. I am an exceptional listener with a tremendous amount patience. As I work alongside the mother, communication about the newborns day is constant. I take notes on the day's events and create a focus for our next visit. I always follow the parents' lead when it comes to household rules. My time with the newborn includes swaddling, cuddling, feeding, and soothing. I have a college degree, three years of experience, CPR Training, First Aid Training, and coursework with DONA International. My joy is to cheer on the mother and father during this stressful and exciting time.
