Stephanie was a fantastic nanny for our 14-month-old son during a 4 month period where we had a LT care gap (we would have been delighted to work with her longer!!) - my son absolutely adored her. She was exceptionally communicative, sent pictures every few hours to keep us updated (I am an anxious parent and asked for many updates - and she delivered!). She was very focused on safety, never taking our son to new locations without clearing it with us first and asking great questions like “where exactly is the lifevac”. Beyond being reliable and CPR certified, she was great with feedback and took the initiative to clean up, ensuring our apartment looked fantastic when we returned home. Stephanie has a degree in K-12 special education and was wonderful at planning age-appropriate activities and often brought her own art supplies for holiday crafts (they made the cutest paper pumpkins for Halloween). She was skilled at preparing food that our son actually ate, and (again) he absolutely adored her. I was also very impressed with her references (one reference noted that she had Stephanie watch her 5 (!) kids (ages 3 - 12) for a week while they went on a cruise). We are super happy to recommend her to any local family.
