I am 58 and ''retired' from my career in occupational health and safety. My husband and I have two children in high school. I've always been very active volunteering at school but now that my kids are 'aging out' and the oldest is getting ready for college I am staying busy with elder care! I would describe my personality as kind, energetic and I love to spread joy to others. As a 14 year breast and lung cancer survivor I like to embrace life and make the most of every day! I like caring for seniors because as a cancer survivor and having personally experienced caring for aging parents I know how problematic it is to find reliable, trustworthy care for aging adults. I have experience in the medical arena as my background is health and safety, I supervised the medical department for a major chemical plant and my personal medical journey. I am looking for part time opportunities that enable me to help others with daily life activities while providing social / emotional support.

Stephanie has been visiting my Mom for a year now and she is incredible. She does basic tasks like helping my Mom grocery shop or take her to get her nails done. She drives my Mom’s car because it’s low enough for my 5’1” Mom to crawl in and out of. She gets her to exercise and do other important tasks that she won’t do for her own children. She has been a godsend for us. I trust her implicitly.
