About Sterling

I work as a music teacher at a memory care facility for individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's. In this role, I lead engaging group music sessions that include sing-alongs, rhythm activities, and music-based games designed to support emotional well-being and cognitive stimulation. I adapt each class to meet varying ability levels and use patience, empathy, and clear communication to create a calm, supportive environment. This side role has strengthened my caregiving skills and deepened my understanding of compassionate, person-centered elderly care.
