About Sterling

I started tutoring in high school, where I was apart of a mentoring program and helped fellow students with classes I had already taken. In college, for my work-study, I worked with the Athletic Department, where I tutored student athletes in courses like Calculus, Spanish, and Chemistry. When I studied abroad in Spain, I worked for two families each week and helped their children converse in English. During the pandemic, I did in-home tutoring, and I worked for Georgetown Learning Center as well, which was completely virtual. I love kids and I love helping people to understand something they find difficult - the lightbulb moment! I'm taking a break from the corporate world and would love to pick up tutoring again. I can help with Math and Spanish at any level and most levels of Science as well. I have my own car, so traveling to and from jobs around the Charlotte area is no problem. I grew up here and just moved back after 10 years. I love this city and I'm happy to be home!
