About Steven

I have over nine years of hands-on caregiving experience, primarily supporting a paraplegic man with cerebral palsy. I assisted with all aspects of daily living, including bathing, dressing, transfers, meals, companionship, and end-of-day care. This role taught me patience, consistency, and the importance of treating every individual with dignity and respect. I was employed with a company that "supports" adults with mental disabilities; however, I've come to realize that what matters most to me is forming a meaningful, long-term bond with one individual rather than rotating between clients. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care while becoming a trusted companion-bringing reliability, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping others live as comfortably and independently as possible.
