I am a licensed, N- 8 teacher. My B. S. is in Elementary Education and my M. S. is a concentration in Reading from Pre-K through high school. I have taught ALL grades and SUBJECTS from K-6th. I have experience with children diagnosed with ADHD, Dyslexia, ASD and students who are struggling /having school related anxiety and self esteem issues. I have the advantage of knowing the curriculum in a plethora of grades, yet using materials and strategies that are engaging and help learning stick. I can do assessments for Reading, Math and Writing and create an individualized program for your child that is specific to their needs and incorporates their interests whenever possible. My tutoring rate is $55 per hour and commensurate with my experience. I tutor students online or in my home in Apex, closer to Fuquay. I am able to provide references upon request. Finally, I am still working not because I have too, but because I love helping students grow and learn.
