About Summer

I have been caring for children in a wide variety of roles for upwards of 10 years. I have experience as a preschool teacher, youth swim instructor, part-time and live-in nanny, summer camp counselor and most recently, behavior therapist for children on the autism spectrum. I am CPR and pediatric first aid certified, a registered behavior technician and trained in early childhood education. I love finding new ways to encourage curiosity and get children excited to learn and experience the world in new, exciting ways. I've worked closely with children ages 6 months to 16 years, and feel confident in my ability to independently care for up to 3 children at a time. I've been in pediatric therapy field for 4 years now, but am looking to dedicate my skills and experience to a single family.
