About Susan

Hello! My name is Susan. I have spent my career supporting students of all abilities as a special education teacher and IEP writer. I have extensive experience helping children build in reading, writing, math and social skills by breaking down concepts into manageable steps and tailoring instruction to meet individual learning needs. I'm passionate about helping students gain confidence and make meaningful academic progress, especially when they feel stuck or frustrated. As a tutor, I bring patience, creativity, and a strong understanding of how to adapt teaching methods so every child has the chance to succeed. I believe in working closely with families to support learning both in and out of the classroom.
