About Susan

My wife and I could not have asked for a better caregiver for our family trip to Virginia, and we are extremely thankful we found Susan. Susan went above and beyond in every way. She drove a significant distance daily, always arriving ahead of time and staying late without complaint. She did an exceptional job caring for, teaching, and protecting our two young children, aged 2 and 3. If you've ever traveled with toddlers, you know the reality: they're hyped up on sugar and excitement to see family, running on serious jetlag, and operating well outside their normal routines. Caring for kids in that environment without immediately reverting to screen time is nothing short of a miracle. Each day Susan worked with us, she respectfully taught, entertained, and kept our children safe, balancing activity time with a limited amount of TV, balancing the kids' wishes with adult sensibility about what is actually a good idea. She was patient, engaged, and genuinely present with them in a way that gave us real peace of mind. Susan is an immensely kind, giving, and hardworking woman. We are giving her our heartfelt 5-star review, a deeply felt thank you, and a strong reference. I can earnestly recommend her to anyone who needs childcare in Virginia, would be willing and happy to serve as a reference, and hope we can visit her and work with her again on any future family trip to the state.
