About Susan

I grew up in Iowa, and lived in central Illinois before moving to the Triangle area of NC. I moved back to the Des Moines area to assist my mom, who is 100! I am a registered nurse with a MA in Health Administration from the University of Iowa. I have experience working as a supervisor/manager/director in the health care industry -in insurance and skilled nursing facilities. I served in the Army Nurse Corp. Reserve as a Captain. I assist senior clients who need help staying in their homes. Services include personal care, medication and condition management overnight and weekend assistance errands transportation meal preparation cleaning pet care etc. I have been a private caregiver for 13 years. I also have experience caring for all ages of children. I periodically babysit for an almost 2-year-old, having cared for her since 6 weeks old.
