About Susan

I am a Patient Care Tech at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, where I care exclusively for stroke patients and others facing debilitating neurological disease or injury. I am a graduate of the BJC Patient Care Tech Academy and a retired professional from an unrelated field. I keep patients clean, dry, fed, and as peaceful as possible. Some require 100% care, some only a friendly chat. I love caring for seniors because I grew up in a multigenerational household. I miss my family members (I am 60 now and most are gone), so I enjoy the company of other 'older' folks. My skills include bathing, toileting, feeding, ambulating dysphasic, or otherwise confused and compromised patients after strokes, dementiaor TBI.
