About Susan
Experience: 10 yrs
I am the mother of 6 children ranging from 44 down to 19. I am also blessed with 12 grand children as well. My husband is now a retired Pastor of many years. My father had a major stroke, he was a full assist unable to walk or talk. It was a blessing to care for him in our home for over 7 years. After he passed I realized my care for those in need wasn't over, I went on to obtain my CNA license. I love the elderly. I want to encourage them. For many, as they experience aging, they loose their hearing, they loose their license, their home etc... not fun! I just want to help encourage focusing on what they can do as well as listen and learn from their own life experiences!

Susan and my mom “hit it off” right away, even though they didn’t know each other before (a friend of our family introduced us). Susan is very attentive to my detailed written instructions I leave about my mom’s care and will ask appropriate questions if she doesn’t understand. She is also encouraging to my mom when it comes to eating, which my mom often doesn’t feel like doing. Susan has been easy to communicate with, by phone or text and I can “rest easy” when I am gone and she is with my mom!
