About Susan

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and respectful. I am passionate about supporting students by providing a learning environment where they have the opportunity to experience success. I am a local Paraprofessional with 29 years of experience in a variety of educational settings. I have been a resident of Yucaipa for 23 years, and worked for YCJUSD for 19 years. I currently support students virtually for a public charter school. I have an extensive background in both General and Special Education at the elementary and middle school levels. I owned and operated Extra Effort Tutoring in Yucaipa for a number of years, stepping away from it during Covid. I will be offering both in-person and virtual tutoring this summer. Please message me if your student could use some additional support with maintaining their present levels, or working on an area of need. I offer Reading, Writing, and Math instruction. I also have extensive experience and training in Special Education.
