I agree with the previous review. I wish it had been left sooner. I too had similar issues. Very unprofessional and my expectations too were ignored. First being she showed up 15 mins late. Second was that I too noticed the constant phone use issue, which I honestly wouldn’t have minded if she had just put my child down for a nap or something. Her phone interfered with her ability to engage with our child. Since she was on her phone incessantly, I TEXTED her to say stop texting and please support my baby’s head properly. She immediately put the phone down… Prior to her starting I had previously emphasized pace feeding my child from a bottle. I also emphasized no screen time for my infant. I stated no kissing my baby. Washing her hands prior to touching my child. I went downstairs to take a phone call and left her alone while watching our nanny cam. I watched her for 30 mins play on her phone while my baby cried to be fed. She was too consumed with her phone to FEED my crying baby. I waited 30 mins to see if she would remedy it, but also because my child wasn’t to the point where she becomes inconsolable due to hunger. As soon as I saw she wasn’t going to feed her, I immediately went back upstairs and got my baby to feed her. I sent Susan home early as if I’m taking care of my child there’s no point in her being there. I debated on whether or not I should allow her back because we had already agreed upon the next day. I decided I would discuss my expectations again before dismissing her. The next day she was 15 minutes late AGAIN. I explained to her that the same traffic that was there yesterday is there every day. I need someone who is on time. If the time you agreed to work isn’t the time you show up it throws my schedule off. I had a call to make that I could no longer make due to her lateness. I went to shower and again was watching the nanny cam. She was sitting with my child & she was ON her PHONE again! When she heard my footsteps in the hallway she immediately put her phone down not realizing I already saw her. I watched her kiss my baby on the top of her head multiple times. I already explained no screen time for my child. I explained no kissing my child. My child was again crying that she was hungry and this was ignored. She tried to placate her hunger cries with tummy time and then watching some Spanish YouTube on her phone. I dismissed her earlier than the agreed upon time. I stated I will no longer need her services for the rest of the day.
