About Susan

Hello my name is Susan. I have worked as an elderly care giver for 2 years. Started as a part time job in PA at an agency called Right at Home. I had regular weekend clients that I adored and requested me always. Did general care duties, such as cleaning, cooking, medication, assisted in bathing/dressing. Moved to Orlando, FL worked for a company called Strive which then I worked in a home which 5 residents lived and there we had 2 of us which worked 8 hour shifts, someone was always there 24 hour coverage for residents. Very enjoyable employment experience. The residents had dementia or Alzheimer's. I had training for certification in medicine dispensing. Cooked meals, did laundry, cleaning, arts/crafts with residents. I feel blessed to having what it takes is patience and compassion for the elderly and their needs and assistance that would be required as to their health and abilities they have.
