I'm a certified English Language Arts teacher with 7 years of experience helping students thrive. I specialize in structured paragraph and essay writing (Jane Schaeffer method), literary analysis, presentations, public speaking, personal statements, and proper citation. I also support homework organization and study planning. I've provided consistent one-on-one help through afterschool writing labs and more recently, as a public school paraeducator supporting students in class and on medical/home leave. I love one-on-one tutoring because I value the writing process and the personal and intellectual growth it fosters. My top three strengths - organization, consistency, and a pursuit of excellence - are also qualities I nurture in my students. As an empty nester with a flexible schedule, I'm happy to help with light household needs like transportation, errands, and meal planning. I love dogs and drive a reliable SUV.
