Making a real difference in someone's life is why I wanted to become a caregiver. I have a college degree and 4 years of experience providing loving support to my own senior parents. I am patient, calm, friendly and approachable. I understand the importance of connecting with care recipients by learning about their preferences and personal history. I am skilled in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion. I am able to provide transportation, run errands, prepare meals, assist with mobility, manage medications and perform light housekeeping. I will communicate regularly with families using their preferred method, offering updates and addressing concerns. Helping my parents through some difficult years really opened my eyes to the needs of so many seniors. Seniors whose family may not live close enough to help them on a regular basis. I'm excited to meet your loved one and bring comfort and peace of mind to your family.
